Baby Names

Ok I have a question. Does it matter the meaning of a name?? Jeremy and I love this name, but I can't get passed the meaning.
Will the child end up acting like that? I dunno. What do you think?

what's the meaning?? i think it's important for it to not have a bad meaning.... i mean ryder's name, the meaning had nothing to do with our choice.... it means--you guessed it--rider. kyle's name though, the girl meaning, is attractive... so although we already liked the name, the meaning pulled it through for me....

yeah, it's so hard finding names! i agree, i wouldn't want the name to have a bad meaning...broolyn just means by a brook, nothing really meaningful there, but we've chosen middle names with more meaning for our kids. so i'd think a lot has to do with what the meaning acutally is...good luck! i love celia's name, so i'm sure whatever you guys come up with for a boy will be GREAT!

i doubt i could name a child of mine something that had a meaning i disagreed with :/
you know that verse in the bible about having a good name and how it's worth more than gold or whatever?

haye doesn't really mean anything, because we made it up, but jude means praise :)

what's the name, lindsay, and what's the meaning?
